- How far have you read in the series, and which is your favorite book?
--I've read the whole of the series save for A New Spring and The Big White Book. - Does the WoT take place before our time, after our time, or not in this universe?
--Oh, I certainly think after. This is the First Age, with the Age of Legends as the Second . . . and I think we're all familiar with the Third. That's my point of view, at least. - (a) If you're a girl, which Ajah would you choose if you were Aes Sedai?
--Hell, I'm not a girl, but if I were . . . Yellow. *grins* If it weren't for all the math involved, I'd ship out to Med School in real life. It's a fascinating topic, yet one for which I could never hold much affection with all the numbers and physics required. Medicine without the math, however, as per the Yellow Ajah, is the ideal.
(b) If you're a boy, would you rather be a Warder or an Asha'man?
--Oh, Warder, no doubt about it. That'd just kick some serious ass! - Who is your favorite amongst the Forsaken?
--Semirhage, and I'm praying Knife of Dreams will grace her with a bit more screen-time . . . - Robert Jordan admits that much story background is taken from tales of King Arthur and from Lord of the Rings. What similarities have you noticed, and do they add or detract from the story?
--Countless. General allusions go from The Fisher King to Odin and Thor, Mat and Rand respectively, of Norse Myth. Arthurian Legend ranges from Galad (Galahd) to Egwene al'Vere (Guinevere), not to forget Artur Hawkwing. Lord of the Rings is most evident in the initial setting. Personally, I think they enrich the whole of it. - Which character do you think you most resemble (intellectually and/or physically)?
--Physically, I'd have to say Mat. Mentally, Perrin. - What one Talent would you like to posess?
--Reading Auras, a la Min. - Anything else you'd like to share?
--. . . not a thing. *hangs up hat*
